I am so thrilled to introduce you to the crew that makes Decade of Courage possible. Each person we work with shares a piece of themselves with us, which keeps our sights set high, our compass set towards transformative change.
What I am frequently told is that people are drawn to the Decade of Courage community because of the collective courage we embody – that we dare to dream of a more just and balanced society and planet, to speak truth to power, to try new things and risk failing.
Our response: what is at risk if we don’t have the courage to act, albeit imperfectly, to inspire more of us to lead the change we need?
I hope you take a moment to learn more about the people power that lifts us, and consider getting involved with us.
There is room for everyone at this table.

MUSIC FOR THE MOVEMENT
Like the rest of the Decade of Courage project, Dana’s approach to the music was bold, simple, and off the beaten path. Take the music from a past American Cultural movement and make it new again. Show listeners an alternative future, tell them about the path to get there, and inspire them to take it – don’t shame them.
Creating instrumental funk/soul music that simultaneously looks backward and forward was not a project for me to do alone. I composed the foundation and structure of these tunes, then enlisted the help of Phil Collier (keys), RJ Williams (drums), and Miles and Wayne Tucker (tenor sax and trumpet), with a special appearance by Eric “Slim” Miller (electric guitar).
Together – well, remotely but collaboratively – we came up with the songs we hope will elevate the message of Decade of Courage.
